How is project 1 going?

I am doing my paper on Beyoncé. I am analyzing her Super Bowl 50 halftime performance, her album "Lemonade" and her rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl press conference. I am going artifact by artifact and researching each individually. I analyze each event and discuss how it impacted the singers career, how and why she did it, and give details of each. I like this project because the prompt gave me creative freedom to choose a topic that is interesting to me and one that i feel i already know a lot about. By choosing Beyoncé, this project was not super boring or hard to write about, it was easy to pick artifacts and interesting to learn more about the topic. I enjoyed analyzing these events and looking into them and it was fairly simple to put them into essay format and write an informative piece. The biggest challenge of this project has been the "rhetorical" part. Since Beyoncé is a person and the artifacts i am talking about are live events and performances, as well as the album, it is difficult to know how to analyze that rhetorically and in a way that pertains to analysis similar to what is explained in the text book. Comparing it to analyzing literature or a movie has been difficult for me so far.
