Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is about love and being around the ones you love. When I think of Valentine's Day I think of chocolates, hearts and the colors pink and red. I think of couples on dates and fancy outfits and going to the movies. Valentine's Day is about being happy and feeling warm. It makes me think of cards and little bags of candies and small gifts. Men giving jewelry to their wives etc. A movie that i feel fulfills these conventions is "The Proposal". Ryan Reynolds becomes a very romantic man as the movie goes on and he and Sandra Bullock fall in love. He takes her to his families house, he professes his love for her and there is a wedding. Everything that happens in this movie falls in line with the characteristics of Valentines Day as it is all warm and lovey. Sandra Bullock spends time with his family and gets to know them and they laugh and cry together. The whole time, she is falling in love with her assistant and in the end he saves her career and life as she knows it as well as tells her he loves her. This movie is one that could be watched on Valentine's Day as it is the perfect picture of love.
